Travelers have collectively given the lowest scores to holiday hotels in London. The holiday hotels in London have been given the lowest scores among 1,000 European cities and towns.
Trivago, which compares hotel prices, has released a ranking of the European cities keeping in mind the online reputation of the holiday hotels in these cities. The reports suggest that holiday hotels in London and Birmingham have very low ratings compared to other cities with overall scores of only 72.2 and 74.15.
The high room prices and hotel quality maybe the reasons why London has received such low ratings but many other expensive cities have better holiday hotels ratings. Berlin and Madrid have managed to get ratings of 78.88 and 78.35 despite being expensive.
Though London has fared badly, the country overall has been ranked fairly well. Belfast, Cardiff and Canterbury have all gotten good ratings within the range of 79 and 81. This data has been based on the 28 million reviews on Trivago and its partner sites.
